Plot summary

Kon Tiki is set in 1947, as a war-weary world became fascinated by the young Norwegian, Thor Heyerdahl. To test out his theory that Polynesia had been populated by natives of South America, he set out on a perilous journey across the Pacific Ocean, willing to sacrifice everything to prove that he was right.
