Plot summary
It’s the end of summer and 9-year-old Johan is bored. His dad ought to fix the old Volvo but spends most his time in his hammock with a beer. Johan bikes around by himself and shoots with his slingshot. Anna, 9, lives close by. She looks everywhere for her pet rabbit, which has gone missing. One day, Johan accidentally wounds a rabbit with his slingshot. He realises it is Anna's rabbit and brings it home. He builds a little animal hospital for it in the outhouse in his backyard. Johan tries his very best to save it, without letting dad or Anna know anything.
